Does anybody else need some cuteness this Friday? Yeah, me too. Five different kinds of cuteness, coming right up.
Four baby raccoons in a tree! (A group of raccoons is called a gaze.)
Fennec foxes. (A group of these would be called a leash, a skulk, or an earth.) The pets I want almost as much as
hedgehogs and
sugar gliders. Look at those ears!
Baby sloth in a box! For extra squeals, here's a
video of baby sloths taking a bath! (A whole bunch of them together are a "bed" of sloths :)).
Koala taking a nap. (There's no name for a group of these, because they hang out by themselves.) Sooo cuddly.
And squirrel monkeys goofing off for the camera. (Hehe, a group of monkeys is called a troop of monkeys!)
Happy Friday!
Q: What do you call a group of raccoons?
ReplyDeleteA: A gaze.
Q: What do you call a group of sloths?
A: A bed.
Q: What do you call a group of koalas?
A: A surprise!
Hehe, yes!
DeleteMum showed me the sloth bath time video. I want a sloth! I would hang it up to dry and feed it hibiscus flowers. I wonder how Scooter would like a sloth brother.
ReplyDeleteAlso, that koala looks a bit like Yoda in that photo.
I think Scooter would get along with a sloth brother very well--as long as it knew who was boss. That bath time video makes me smile every time :)
DeleteA gaze, huh? That's funny. Fennec foxes are so cute! They were the mascot for the interpreting class after mine.
ReplyDeleteOh really? That's awesome! I found out about them in college, and now I use a National Geographic article on them to teach my students outlining :)
